| Here at World of Books nothing goes to waste. Any books that do not sell are sold to a registered recycling merchant and turned into recycled paper, which is re-used for brown paper bags and toilet tissue amongst other things. |

| We are also looking at ways to donate books to promote literacy in developing countries by creating reading and learning opportunities where they are most needed. |

| Combining these initiatives means that we keep thousands of tonnes of books each year out of the waste stream and ensures that none of our books ends up in landfill. |
