Chestnut Tree House and World of Books.com

Every year, Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice provides much-needed care for hundreds of kids and their families. Based near Arundel in West Sussex, it is a local charity with a big heart.

They rely on donations to be able to continue their fantastic work, which is why we are delighted to announce that Chestnut Tree House will be our charity partner for the remainder of 2013.

As part of this partnership, we will be donating 10 pence for every book that is sold through Worldofbooks.com. Plus, for anybody who arrives to the site through this page, World of Books will donate an additional 20 pence for each book purchased.

This is just our way of doing a little something to help a fantastic local cause. But of course we couldn’t do it without our brilliant customers. So give yourself a big pat on the back for not only buying a great book, but also giving a little to children with life-limiting conditions.

Here’s a quick word from Sarah Arnold at Chestnut Tree House to explain more about what they do and the importance of donations:

"We are so grateful for the fantastic support from World of Books and look forward to our charity partnership together, they have shown resourcefulness and commitment to help us make life better for our children with life limited illnesses and their families, we would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone for their help and support".
