Channel 4 will be showing Alwyn Crawshaw's series "A Brush with Art" in October 1991. In this illustrated book, the author describes how he painted 12 different landscape paintings in watercolour while on location. In each of the 12 lessons, which tie in closely with the 12 programmes, he demonstrates a different technique and then uses it within that painting. There are also easy-to-follow demonstrations and handy painting hints and tips throughout.
