About Paul Atterbury

Paul Atterbury is a life-long railway enthusiast whose memories of steam in the 1950s and 1960s are put to evocative use in his writing Paul's love of the lost age of Britain's railways is reflected in his home - he lives in a converted railway carriage! His books on railways and the life that accompanied them are very popular and sought after. His latest book, Branch Line Britain has been a tremendous critical and commercial success. Paul is a longtime presenter on TV's Antiques Roadshow and is in great demand for his talks on a wide range of subjects. He lives in Bridport, Dorset.
