Allein diese Erfahrungen waren nirgendwo gesammelt, sie waren nicht durch Zeichnung auch Anderen zug nglich gemacht, und es blieb deshalb dem Apotheker in den meisten F llen nichts  brig, als den Schlosser und Schreiner zu Rate zu ziehen, oder die Ger te aus einer Apparatenhandlung auf gutes Gl ck kommen zu lassen. Um diese L cke auszuf llen, habe ich die genaue Beschreibung der Arbeiten und Versinnlichung der pharmazeutischen Apparate unternommen. Ein wesentliches Verst ndigungsmittel f r diesen Zweck ist die bildliche Darstellung. Bis jetzt geschah dies nur durch lithographierte oder in Kupfer gestochene Abbildungen, welche den pharmazeutischen Werken angeh ngt wurden. Diese Zeichnungen waren ohne Ma stab, sehr hell gehalten, wenig ausgef hrt, zum Teil unklar. Das Aufschlagen dieser Tafeln war ein Hindernis zu ihrer Benutzung. Die xylographische Abbildung, welche in den Text aufgenommen wird, bietet sich als ein willkommenes Ersatzmittel jener anderen Darstellungsarten dar. Es war sogleich mein Augenmerk, durch wenige Abbildungen den Zweck der perspektivischen Ansicht, welche die gr sste Klarheit gibt, mit der Genauigkeit des geometrischen Aufrisses zu vereinigen.\\ Dieses Lehrbuch der pharmazeutischen Technik ist ein unver nderter Nachdruck der Originalausgabe von 1866.
