Die geldhistorischen Ausf hrungen zur Geschichte und Ph nomenologie des russischen Kreditwesens dienen dazu, die komplexe Verschr nkung von monet rpolitischen, staatswirtschaftlich-fiskalischen und binnen-  konomischen Erw gungen und Strukturen zu erhellen. Zugleich werden Deutungsangebote bereitgestellt, die den Aggregatzustand der russischen Wirtschaft am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts und damit am Vorabend der revolution ren Erhebungen, der tiefen Z sur durch den Ersten Weltkrieg und der Herausbildung der jungen Sowjetunion beschreiben. Die Untersuchung soll zur Anschlusslekt re anregen und Anlass geben zu weiterf hrenden Reflexionen  ber die  konomischen Verh ltnisse in der ausgehenden Zaren ra und damit auch  ber die Vorbedingungen f r die Umbr che im Russland des fr hen 20.
