She writes non-fiction, fiction and poetry. Her book Pathways Through Writing Blocks in the Academic Environment, was published by Sense Publishers in 2013. Between 2020-2023 Constable\/Little Brown published three of her crime novels: A Wake of Crows, Drowning Not Waving and No Justice. She came to writing ‘The First Years’ through despair at what seems to her to be a dystopian present leading to a dystopian future. During the research and writing she has discovered a community of other writers who believe that stories can make a difference and of people, all around the world, who are already living a more sustainable future. She lives in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. When not writing, she sea swims, walks, cycles and is involved in the creative life of the town. She is a volunteer for Scarborough Friends of Refugees, and a voluntary trustee for an anti-poverty charity, ATD Fourth World Trust UK. She is a trained counsellor and is interested in the connection between creativity and good mental health. She occasionally runs workshops and mentors.\u003c\/p\u003e","products":[],"url":"https:\/\/www.worldofbooks.com\/de-ch\/collections\/kate-evans.oembed","provider":"World of Books ","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
