She holds a PhD in education and a dual Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Human Nutrition. She is the author of four previous healthy eating cookbooks: The 21-Day Healthy Smoothie Plan, Diabetic Cooking for Two, The Healthy Smoothie Recipe Book, and The Alkaline Diet for Beginners.
