Dr. Auer's medical studies took him to many universities in Austria, Germany, and North America. After completing his medical studies in 1988, he spent several years in clinics and hospitals in Austria. He started his own medical practice in Neumarkt in Austria in 1992. He trained in acupuncture, neural therapy, homeopathy, and holistic medicine, as well as psychotherapy.
