Poems in Agitprop surround the events of the last three years in American policy and politics. Each title recognizes a catch-phrase twisted to secure an agitational propogandic effect. The success of that effect is a lyric.
LOVE-IN-IDLENESS: THE POETRY OF ROBERTO ZINGARELLO (The Word Works, 2015), Terrestrial Music, War on Words, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2010), and Trancelumination are among John Bradley's five works. Atomic Ghost: Writers React to the Nuclear Era, Learning to Glow: A Nuclear Reader, and EATING PURE LIGHT: HOMAGE TO THOMAS MCGRATH (The Backwaters Press, 2009) are three anthologies he edited. He teaches at Northern Illinois University and has received two NEA scholarships and a Pushcart Award.
