Biblical Prophecy from a Military Perspective In Matthew 24: 21 (NASB), Christ Jesus describes the upcoming tribulation in these words: 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. When this extinction of all flesh takes place, the earth will become incinerated in a heat which will melt the elements (2 Peter 3: 10-13), and then God will transform the purged earth into a paradise, with its remnant population to be the immortal saints who were once mortals. In addition to explaining these end-time prophecies in perspective, the narrative also explains to its readers how they can survive and become transformed from mortal to immortal to become the worthy citizens of this new millennial paradise of Christ Jesus.
