Amy Reeder graduated from BYU and got her start in comics by placing in TokyoPop's Rising Stars of Manga contest. She rocketed to stardom upon the release of her popular graphic novel series, Fool's Gold, about a girl who creates a very unique school club. The acclaimed books combined her stunning art with humorous banter and high school angst. Reeder is known for her artwork on the Vertigo series Madame Xanadu written by comics' superstar Matt Wagner.
