Beyond the Golden Gate by Larry Ulrich

Beyond San Franciscos legendary bay entrance with the Golden Gate bridge, journey northward through Californias spectacular North Coast. This strikingly varied landscape is three hundred miles of rugged coastline, two million acres of forests and parklands, vineyards, country inns, historic forts, small communities and fascinating towns.
Larry Ulrich and his wife, Donna escaped from the bustling San Francisco bay area as it was turning into Silicon Valley and discovered California’s quiet, beautiful North Coast at just the right time. Settling in the coastal town of Trinidad in 1971, they have pursued their successful careers as professional freelance photographers from that locale ever since. Roy Parvin is the author of the short story collection “The Loneliest Road in America and, more recently, “In the Snow Forest,” a book of novellas. He lives in the woods of Northern California with his wife, Janet, and two Border collies.
