The Biggest, Best Light by Daniel Darling

Children ages four to seven will discover that the biggest, best light is God's love and how walking in it protects them from sin's harmful shadows. Equally important, they will be encouraged to shine God's light on others.
“In a world that often feels dark, this book is a reminder to us all—young and old—about God’s light in us and in the world”
—Jamie Ivey, author, speaker, and host of The Happy Hour podcast

“This is a book filled with light. Children will remember these important truths about God’s image and human dignity for years to come. Their parents will too.”
—Russell Moore, Public Theologian at Christianity Today and director of Christianity Today’s Public Theology Project

“One of the most foundational truths I want to teach my own children is that each human being—without exception—is made in God’s image with the potential to reflect His light. The Biggest, Best Light conveys this biblical reality with evocative images and storytelling. It will be a new bedtime classic in our house.”
—Matthew Soerens, author, US director of church mobilization and advocacy for World Relief, and national coordinator of the Evangelical Immigration Table

“Being an image-bearer is like being a mirror reflecting the light of God’s character into the world. With this captivating book, Darling and Stensrud help kids grasp at an early age the dignity and diversity of that design. More than that, they help form children for the beautiful mission of shining God’s light in a darkened world.”
—Glenn Packiam, pastor and author of The Resilient Pastor

“Bri and Dan have accomplished quite the feat: They have written a message with the rare ability to grow with our kids. Both theologically rich and universally accessible, this book will guide our children to new spiritual depths as they age. The Biggest, Best Light is such a terrific resource for parents, and I cannot wait to share it with my kids!”
—Sharon Hodde Miller, author of Free of Me and Nice
