Born and Brewed in Yorkshire by Rosie Walker

This is a fascinating short history of over 40 beers that are currently being brewed and drunk in Yorkshire and across the country by independent breweries all located in the region. Born and Brewed in Yorkshire will allow readers to discover more about the names, places, people and breweries who have all contributed to make this collection of beers. The types of Beer shown in this book have been chosen for manyreasons. Some have names of historical significance such as Rudgate's Viking or York Brewery's Centurion's Ghost Ale. Others are famous award winning beer such as: Timothy Taylor and Wentworth Brewery's Rampant Gryphon.
Rosie Walker started drinking Real Ale in 1991, since then she has been a avid follower, not only drinking the stuff but also developing a fascination for pump clips and the tales behind them. She has spent the last ten years collecting and researching material for this book. Rosie lives in Wakefield and is an active member of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
