Leslie Davis Burns is Chair of the Design and Human Environment Department at Oregon State University. She is a fellow of the International Textile and Apparel Association and has received numerous honors, including the D. Curtis Mumford Faculty Service Award. She has also co-authored Changing Appearances: Understanding Dress in Contemporary Society and has had many works published in the Clothing and Textiles Research Journal. Nancy O. Bryant is Professor Emeritus in the Design and Human Environment department at Oregon State University. In addition to her teaching experience, she has had industry experience as a ballet costumer/designer, pattern grader, and theatrical costumer.
