Chasing the Shadow by Joel Harris

Joel Harris holds a bachelors degree in ministry and bible studies and has been working in Christian ministry for the past fifteen years. He currently serves as minister at Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy, Arkansas.

Harris is loving husband to wife Lisa, to whom he has been married for twenty-three years, and with whom he is proud parent to two wonderful children, Autumn and Ian, and one very personable dog who thinks she's their third child.

A lifelong dog enthusiast, Harris has enjoyed the companionship of many canines over the years and has developed a deep admiration and respect for the species, which he has infused into his writing in very unique ways. Central to his epic novels, Rise of the Carrion Lord and Relic, are compelling nonhuman characters, most of whom are highly intelligent dogs.
