Neil Clarke is a well-known historian from Shropshire who specializes on the region's transportation history. He's a Friend of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust, and he's in touch with a librarian/archivist who can assist him with photographs. He grew up in the area and has spent his whole life in Shropshire, so he is well familiar with the history of the county, and his engagement with a local historical organization means he understands what local history and transportation aficionados are looking for in this book.
