Communication Revolution by Robert W Mcchesney

In a sharp and cogent analysis of the history of media studies and a clarion call for citizen participation, McChesney argues that with the internet and wireless technologies set to take over traditional media, there is a unique opportunity to build a more egalitarian communication system. With authorative analysis and historical knowledge, he brilliantly shows how communication scholarship is failing to rise to the challenge of the burgeoning media reform movement.
