Hugh Miller began writing for Scottish Television before moving to Advent Productions where he scripted over fifty documentaries and teaching films. He writes both fiction and non-fiction and is an acknowledged authority on forensic medicine. He has written extensively on medico-legal subjects and crime non-fiction and his published titles include Proclaimed in Blood Forensic Fingerprints, Scotland Yard and Secrets of the Dead (Channel 4 Books).
