Cyberlaw by Jeffrey Helewitz

Presenting an emerging area of law, this text explores the legal doctrines and principles that apply to the operation and development of computer technology and the Internet. It discusses the rapid legislative and judicial responses, demanded by the creation of the new technology, to resolve legal problems of the emerging technology, covering: jurisdiction, constitutional issues, e-business, property rights, and cybercrime.

"The coverage of e-business is very goodI like how the author divided the material into three distinct sections: contract formation, financing, and tax issues." — Laura Barnard, Lakeland Community College

Jeffery A. Helewitz received his JD and LLM degrees from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC, and his MBA, concentrating in finance, from New York University.

After working for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, Mr. Helewitz now serves as a consultant to small businesses in New York.

Mr Helewitz is an adjunct professor of paralegal studies at various paralegal schools in the New York area, as well as an adjunct professor of law at C.U.N.Y School of Law. The second edition of Advanced Employment Law is the author's fourth textbook published by Pearson Publications Company.
