She was raised in a household of voracious readers, and books have always played an significant role in her life. Her dream as a child was to be a professional singer, but a lack of cash forced her to work at an office, where she rose through the ranks from tea girl to credit controller. Writing, reading, swimming, and golf are some of her favorite pastimes.
