George Woodbury graduated from the University of California-Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1990 and California State University-Northridge with a master's degree in mathematics in 1994. He is currently a professor at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California, which is located just outside of Fresno. Both his students and his colleagues have praised him as a teacher. George served as the department chair of the math/engineering division from 1999 to 2004 in addition to teaching and writing.
