Whitecap Books was founded in 1977 and has since evolved to become one of Canada's top 10 book publishing and distribution firms. Whitecap developed a name for itself as Canada's leading creator of full-color gift and coffee table books on Canadian provinces, cities, and natural marvels in the 1970s and early 1980s.
