Monaghan has been selling antiques in flea markets, antique malls, and, most recently, her own antique store, The Cat's Pajamas, in Vancouver, Washington, for nearly 40 years. She's also taught English to adults who are new to the country, as well as youngsters with learning impairments and autism.
