Following an instinct called the Nudge, bestowed on him by a higher power, Derek is guided to the next chosen human destined to survive, a little girl named Melissa.Chad Michael Murray, a New York native, has been showcasing his brooding good looks and acting talents on television and the silver screen for almost a decade. With roles on Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, and One Tree Hill, he has been a teen heartthrob on pop culture classics, and his film credits include Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Tale, and House of Wax. Murray is now preparing to advance his profession to the next level. He'll be seen in Lionsgate's The Haunting in Georgia and the socially significant Indie film Renee (Kat Dennings, Rupert Friend, ), as well as a few other projects. Chad may also be seen as Thatcher, an HIV-positive character, in the short film The Carrier (Rita Wilson, Anna Paquin), which is now touring the festival circuit. Murray will also release Everlast, his first graphic novel, in November. Everlast is a passion project of his that depicts the story of Derek Everlast, a tragic hero on a quest to save the world before the End of Days.
