He describes a variety of adventures of living in Indiana during the late 1930's. He describes living in three different homes with his family throughout the 1940's and working from age nine. He describes his adventures in four schools, caddying, playtimes, and home life. Naval service and college life are covered through his graduation from Graduate School at Indiana University in 1964.Shallon Lester is the co-author of the YA novel Hot Mess and the star of MTV's reality show Downtown Girls. Shallon has written for Glamour magazine, the New York Daily News, and Gossip Girl, and she has a better nose and cheaper shoes than Carrie Bradshaw.
