Exorsisters, Volume 2 by Ian Boothby

When The Creator said, “Let there be light,” The First Shadow fell across creation. Now it’s up to Cate and Kate Harrow to stop the world from being swallowed by its infinite darkness. But to do it, they need to get the help of Heaven, Hell, and their deadbeat dad.

Since he was 13, Ian Boothby has been writing comedy for television and radio, and since he was 16, he has been creating his own comics. Ian has contributed to The Simpsons, Futurama, Mars Attacks, Scooby-Doo, The Powerpuff Girls, and The Flash in the form of comic books. Together with the artist Nina Matsumoto, Ian has won an Eisner Award for Best Short Story. Nina Matsumoto is a Japanese Canadian who grew up painting largely animals, then mostly people, and then back to animals again for this book. She works as a penciler for Simpsons Comics and as a T-shirt designer for Fangamer. She developed Yōkaiden, an English manga series, and illustrated The Last Airbender Prequel: Zuko's Tale.

She and Ian Boothby won an Eisner Award together in 2009, and they've been working together ever since. She shares her home with an aloof Shiba Inu who is most likely a cat dressed as a dog.
