The Essential Edgar Cayce (2004) and Willing to Change: The Journey of Personal Transformation (2005) are two of his books. Mark spent 36 years in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) and Atlantic University. In 2009, he began a new phase of his own soul's purpose by joining George Mason University's Center for the Promotion of Well-Being as Director of Educational Programs.
He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on consciousness, mindfulness, and the science of well-being in this capacity. Mark Lynch and his long-time wife, Mary Elizabeth Lynch, co-founded the Personal Transformation and Courage Institute in 2000, a non-profit educational institution that offers small-group learning intensives. Mark and Mary Elizabeth have two grown sons and daughters.
