She is now writing under her real name, Ross, and is continuing Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover series as well as original work, including the fantasy trilogy THE SEVEN-PETALED SHIELD. She is a Book View Café member. She's lived in Europe, worked as a cardiologist's assistant, learned Hebrew, yoga, and kung fu, and is involved in the local Quaker community.
