T.J.Parsell is a writer and human rights activist who is committed to stopping all forms of sexual assault against men, women, and children in custody. He is the President-elect of Stop Prisoner Rape and advises the National Prison Rape Elimination Commission. Parsell has spoken before a number of legislative agencies and was a driving force behind the enactment of the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003, the first federal law to address the subject.
