The awesome power of a Bobby Dazzler, the sight of the 17-year-old Best twisting a full-back's blood, and the raised-arm salute of Denis Law created an alluring magic. Brendon McGuire spent 40 years working in physical education and sport. He led research analysing football and community which involved all English professional clubs, developing innovative educational resources for young players. Brendon's work has been published in high-level academic journals and other periodicals. His main research interest in recent years has been Manchester United in the 50s and 60s.
