Julia Hubery was born in Stamford and trained as an architect. She loves the countryside and nature, finding it a pool of inspiration to draw on in her writing. Julia now lives in Gosport with her husband and three children. She has published 12 picture books. A Hare, A Hound and Shy Mousey Brown is her first title with Little Hare.  Jonathan Bentley is an award-winning illustrator and author of over fifty picture books. He has worked with some of Australia’s most loved authors including, Margaret Wild, Shaun Micallef, Patrick Guest, Lian Tanner and Andrew Daddo. His books are enjoyed by children all around the world.
