She also worked on the Lifetime film Who Is Clark Rockefeller? as a story consultant. More than a dozen national magazines, including Maxim, Stuff, Cosmopolitan, New York, ESPN the Magazine, Gotham, Manhattan File, and other foreign media, have published McPhee's real crime stories. She hosted two Court TV Mugshot specials, and her reporting has also appeared on A&E TV's Crime Ink and the Discovery Channel's Rats. Her reporting has led her to crime sites all around the country, and she has been on CNN, MSNBC, and the Fox News Network as a breaking news pundit.
