Hello. I have cancer. How are you? Hi, how are you? Is everybody having a good time? I have cancer." The set went viral instantly and was ultimately released as Tig's sophomore album, Live, which sold one hundred thousand units in just six weeks and was later nominated for a Grammy.

Tig Notaro is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and radio host from the United States. She also has a recurring role in the critically acclaimed series Transparent, where she creates, produces, and stars in the semiautobiographical series One Mississippi for Amazon Studios. Her HBO stand-up special and Tig, a Netflix Original Documentary on her life, both released in 2015. Tig continues to be a fan favorite on Conan and This American Life, performs abroad, and spends her free time in Los Angeles bird-watching with her wife, Stephanie, and kitty, Fluff.
