Jessica Strange by Malorie Blackman

Jessica begins to suspect that she is not a mouse and goes on a tour of the farmyard to see if any of the other animals can help her out. Madame Butterfly thinks she must be a cow as she has four legs, but Mrs Cow thinks she is an ant as she is so small. Will she ever find out that she is a cat?
A lovely, enchanting story for children that is perfectly complemented by Alison bartlett's lively illustrations * Early Years Educator *
A thoughtful look at differences * TES Primary *
An unusual and thought-provoking tale, with vibrant images, that prompts discussion and conveys a very positive message * Junior *
