Legacy of Blue by Mark Stallard

From George Brett and Bo Jackson to Carlos Beltran, Alex Gordon, and Billy Butler, Legacy of Blue starts with the beginning of the Kansas City Royals in 1969, highlights the team's glory years in the 1970s and 1980s, and covers the last 20 years up to the beginning of the franchise's turnaround under the GM Dayton Moore. In addition to the history of baseball in Kansas City, the book is loaded with facts, quotes, brainteasers, stories, and more from the Royals' 45 years in the American League-Legacy of Blue covers the bases for one of baseball's best-ever expansion franchises. Originally published as Kansas City Royals Facts & Trivia.
