Denton J. Tipton is a senior editor at IDW Publishing and a New York Times best-selling graphic novelist. Transformers, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and others are among his credits. The X-Files, Joe: Rise of Cobra, and Orphan Black: Helsinki Hunter S. Thompson, a former newspaper writer, is one of his literary influences. Thompson, Ernest Hemingway, Dashiell Hammett, Elmore Leonard, and Philip K. Johnson are among the authors who have contributed to this collection. Dick, his wife Merrily, and his best buddy Buster live in San Diego.
