A Life Transformed by Vera Quick

This work tells of my life's journey from brokenness in overcoming adversity, restoration through the faith journey as a Christian in obedience and trust. It includes adventures from Grantham to the Holy Land through outreach to Jewish people. My story is no different from many others who have come to know and love the living God. The purpose in writing is not to dwell on all the damaging things in my life that have caused me and others grief, but to focus on the grace and mercy of God in transforming every situation and experience I have had, bringing healing, wholeness and freedom into my life. Coming to know God not as someone out there but deep within, pouring so much love into my being it was coming out of the top of my head, so much love I couldn't contain it all.
"Wonderful, wonderfulVera's life captures a spiritual journey. The record of this journey, told in a child-like way, is immensely vital. Its vitality will challenge each Christian reader to evaluate what it means to be committed to Christ. It poses important questions. How can we process guilt in the light of the Cross? Vera's reluctance, lasting several years, to forgive herself for a failed marriage, is an object lesson in embracing God's forgiveness that is available to us all." – Ian Jones
