Just recently, he received the World Cookbook Award for his work. He lives and works in a small town in the Wiehen Hills near Bielefeld (which, despite all rumors to the contrary, does exist) with his family, a pack of wild cats and life-size statues of Batman, Kung Fu Panda, Rayman, and orc Thrall.
