Richard Morgan lives with his wife and daughters in Hertfordshire. A one-time illustrator for Disney, he has returned from New Zealand and is now a full-time author and illustrator, with a sideline in lecturing at Goldsmiths University. He was often punished in school for not listening and scribbling in all his books, and for all the hours he spent day-dreaming. He's glad now, though, as he earns a living doing just the same! When he's not dreaming up fantastic new stories, he passes time by restoring old VW cars and eating Liquorice Allsorts.
