Jim Piper has been teaching filmmaking for over thirty years and has been a contributing editor to Super8Filmaker magazine for seven years. A champion of the American Indie and foreign films, he has made 12 short narrative films, which have won top awards around the world. Piper started the digital filmmaking class at Fresno City College in 2002 and was instrumental in the development of Fresno Filmworks, a non-profit group that brings alternative cinema to Fresno.
