Mamika by Sacha Goldberger

The concept for Mamika began when French photographer Sacha Goldberger and his grandmother, the amazing Frederika, decided to create the character of Mamika (little grandmother in Hungarian). Many disguises, geriatric stunts, jokes, and crazy photo shoots later, Mamika became an internet sensation, with magazines around the world writing about her. The Atlantic named her Face of the Year 2010. Mamika and Sacha continue to shoot photographs today, posting them on Facebook and MySpace and Goldberger's web site: sachabada.com. Google Mamika: you get more than 2 million hits, with Frederika Goldberger leading the search results for several pages with numerous postings and reviews from all over the world. Mamika is also on Youtube, with 3 videos posted there.
Sacha Goldberger is a photographer who specializes in fashion and advertising. His previous book, The Little Book of I Love You, has sold more than 100,000 copies worldwide. His photographs of Mamika can be viewed on www.sachabada.com. He lives in France.
