Manhattan Mayhem by A Shane Etter

Bookworm and Reefer are informants who assist the New York City Police Department in its search for and apprehension of violent criminals and murderers. Their ability to fit in on the street and walk unnoticed among people with criminal intent has served Detective Salvator Rossi repeatedly in his quest to rid the city of the worst of the criminal element.

When a serial murderer who calls himself The Swordsman has the city living in fear Detective Rossi reaches out to the extensions of himself to fit into places he can't to identify The Swordsman and aid in bringing him to justice.

Etter, A. Shane: - A. Shane Etter is a former high tech sales professional who started writing fiction to improve his brain after a stroke. In addition to A War in The Bronx, he has four other published novels, a series of supernatural thrillers, Bottom Dwellers, Mind Dwellers and Trail Dwellers, set in north GA and NYC, plus A Brain in Third Person, his first ThomasMax-published work. Shane is a member of Clifford Brooks' Southern Collective Experience and the Prose Editor of that organization's literary journal, The Blue Mountain Review. Shane has taken writing classes under his mentor, two-time Pulitzer nominee, Jedwin Smith, author of Our Brother's Keeper, Fatal Treasure, among others. Shane enjoys working out and collecting and drinking wine in his spare time. He lives in a 22nd floor penthouse condominium in Sandy Springs, GA, with a view of the Atlanta skyline that inspires his writing and loves international and domestic travel. Shane is proud of his home state, Mississippi and all of the great writers that state has produced.
