Mass by Jack Fuller
A man that said the wrong word, turned to the wrong source for help, and was transformed into a stone-like creature that men called the Mass. He now scours the countryside, looking for peace.or redemption, knowing he'll not likely find either. He is pursued by Father Martin, a priest who feels he can help the creature and seems almost obsessed in trying.
