Mexico Set by Len Deighton

When our bad intentions, outweighs our good intentions, God ends up getting our attention. Dying to self is the best death a person could ever experience. Before long, I didn't even realize it, but I had several funerals due to the years of life on the dark-side had grown to many. God had to kill off a multitude of known and unknown counterfeits and even some aliases that I had adopted. The places I used to hang out at, dead. The ways I used to dress, dead. The ways I used to speak, dead. The thoughts I used to carry, dead. Had not I experienced death to the worldly passions, my new birth with Christ would not have come forth.
