Anis Mojgani is the champion of the International World Cup Poetry Slam and a two-time National Poetry Slam Champion. Anis has performed at universities, festivals, and venues all over the world. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee and a past resident of the Oregon Literary Arts Writers-In-The-Schools program. His work has been featured on HBO, NPR, RATTLE magazine, and in Spoken Word Revolution Redux, alongside Laureates Ted Kooser and Billy Collins. Anis, a native of New Orleans, now resides in a white pointed house in Portland, Oregon, where he wears his beard on occasion and not on others.
