Cynthia Bardes, a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, has been a dress designer, interior decorator, and founder of a rare print gallery. She turned to writing children's books in 2010, inspired by her own chocolate toy poodle named Pansy. Since then, Pansy's adventures solving mysteries all over the world have won her a large and loyal audience of kids and parents who eagerly await each new book.
