Penelope the Piglet by Ant Parker
Penelope is a very messy little piglet - she gets dust all over her curly whirly tail, and scraps of food all over her snuffly snout. But what she loves best is rolling on her back in a mud puddle and waving her trotters. But if you think Penelope is messy, you should see her Uncle! A fantastic follow-up to the hugely successful "Charlie Chick", here is another amazing pop-up book with a truly surprising ending!
Ant Parker is well known for his bright, bold and appealing style of artwork. After studying Visual Communications at Bath Academy of Art, he taught papermaking, printing and bookbinding workshops before beginning to illustrate children's books. Ant has illustrated many novelty books for Macmillan Children's Books, including the highly successful Amazing Machines series for Kingfisher and Charlie Chick series for Campbell. Nick Denchfield is a brilliant and innovative paper engineer who constantly strives to outdo himself with every book he publishes. He is the creator of many successful books including a pop-up-and-play theatre version of The Gruffalo, Campbell's Charlie Chick series and The Christmas Treasure Hunt.
