Praying Church, The by Sue Curran
God has provided the mightiest weapon, but we must learn to use it Jesus said, If two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you.For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. (Matt. 18:19:20, NIV) The Praying Church explains what happens when God's people come together in prayer. In the wake of a sovereign revival in the 1980s, Shekinah Ministries established an effective, corporate prayer life that is continuing into the new millennium. Based on years of experience, Pastor Sue Curran shares time-proven, practical aspects of the prayer meeting: -Establishing and maintaining unity -Building and exercising faith -Leading in corporate prayer -Finding incentives to pray -Overcoming the obstacles Combining sound theory with dynamic application, this is simply the best book available on the subject About the author: Sue Curran and her husband, John, are the founders of Shekinah Church, a 160-acre campus in Tennessee that serves as a conference center for annual pastor and leadership conferences.
